Minimum Requirements:

Working towards a Bachelor’s degree in environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Soil Science, Agriculture, Wetlands management, Geology or an Earth Science related field.

High degree of self-motivation and the ability to work independently with limited supervision.

Excellent report writing and organization skills.

Good working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications, including MS Word and Excel.

Organizational management skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work are required.

Must have a US Citizenship. Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.

Job Description:

URS is looking for a creative, motivated self-starter and team player to intern with the Strategic Environmental Management Group. The ideal candidate for this position is a college student working towards a degree in Science or Engineering with a willingness to apply knowledge and skills to an environmental assessment project. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to those stated above.
