Minimum Requirements:

Bachelors Degree and 7-8 years of direct Program / Project Management experience is required. At least three (3) of those years must have been in a management position involving systems acquisition. Current Program Management Institute (PMI) Certification desirable. Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills are required. Position may require a clearance.

We are seeking a Project Lead, NAVAIR for our office in Lexington Park, Maryland.

Responsibilities:

Duties are to manage the NAVAIR Program and Systems Support (PASS) Task Order contractor team, consisting of prime contractor and all subcontractors of the team. Serves as the working level primary interface and point of contact with Government program authorities and representatives on program/project and contract administration issues for the effort (task order). Supervises project operation by planning and directing project execution and monitoring and reporting progress. The Project Lead is responsible for the timely staffing of qualified contractor personnel and subsequent availability to support the task order Performance Work Statement requirements. The Project Lead is responsible for top level oversight of task order project activities and communication/coordination between the appointed contractor task order project leaders/project teams. This includes front-end team organization, assistance in providing methodology and general project approach concepts, interim and final project reviews, overall management of cost, schedule, and performance of all projects/task orders. Work requires the ability to manage and allocate/prioritize resources for simultaneous work efforts.
