Minimum Requirements:

Vocational/technical training beyond high school and at least 3 years of job-related experience or equivalent. Good communications and analytical skills; working knowledge of computer systems and integrated software application programs.

Preferred candidates will have prior Navy experience or experience working on Navy maintenance contracts.

Position may require travel.
Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.

Job Description:

URS is currently seeking a candidate to provide support to engineering and design staff in a variety of engineering tasks in the installation, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, calibration, testing, fabrication, construction and operation of diverse electronic/mechanical equipment and systems in accordance with engineering specifications.

Essential Responsibilities:
1. Perform a range of design development, analysis or review tasks under minimal supervision
2. Validate installation/modernization documentation to insure compliance with NAVSEA 9090.310 series requirements
3. Track and update modernization efforts in NDE.
4. Establish and maintain a filing system, databases, and logs as required for tracking project status.
5. Coordinate and work closely with other engineering, logistics, and program office disciplines to define system installation requirements
6. Direct on-site customer interface for equipment/system installation, testing and other engineering tasks as needed.
7. Verify and comply with engineering documentation standards, engineering plans, and system specifications and test procedures.

Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
