Job Description: 

Our Orange studio is an integrated A & E practice consisting of Architecture, Structural Engineering, MPE and Advanced Building Technology. We are a diverse, fun, fast-paced, and exciting environment with projects that vary widely in type, scope and complexity.  We are looking for people who want to apply their passion and enthusiasm for integrated design in a collaborative and progressive work environment.


 


General:


The candidates will be responsible for translating direction from project design and management leads into conceptual, schematic and design development packages, and moving into the production of construction documents as required.  The ideal candidate will have design sensibilities with presentation skills, both verbal and visual.  The candidate must be an excellent collaborator willing to contribute to a team effort, but also show an ability to work independently.  The candidate must be flexible and able to adapt to rapidly changing project requirements and deadlines. 


 


Project specific:


We are looking for (3) entry level candidates who will work within a larger team performing on site building assessments which will be translated into record drawings for the client’s use. The candidates need to be able to travel and be on a various sites across the western US between 2 to 3 weeks. The candidates need to able to get clearances to sites.


 


Qualifications:


 



  • A professional degree (M.Arch or B.Arch) from an accredited design school
  • Experience with AutoCad 2008 minimum required, AutoCad 2010 is a must
  • Candidates with experience using Autodesk Revit will be given priority.
  • Ability to read & understand existing As-Built drawings is a must.
  • Experience with Developing technical drawings / Construction drawings is a plus
  • Experience with three dimensional modeling software is a plus [SketchUp etc.]
  • Experience with rendering software is a plus [3D Studio Max or V-Ray is desired]
  • Two dimensional graphics skills using the Adobe Creative Suite are a plus
  • The desire to work in a team-based project environment
  • Southern California applicants will be given preference
