More information on AECOM and its services can be found at www.aecom.com Director, Strategic Initiatives The Director, Strategic Initiatives will help advance the agenda of executive leadership by driving critical initiatives. This position will report to the President’s Chief of Staff and will drive a variety of 1-2 initiatives at any given time which are of strategic importance to AECOM. This position requires the acumen to handle complex situations, balance multiple responsibilities and influence key stakeholders. The position is based at AECOM’s corporate headquarters in downtown Los Angeles and may require some travel.
This career opportunity is ideally suited for a professional with 10-20 years of experience who has strong business acumen, exceptional organizational skills and desire to provide executive-level support to a large, diverse and publicly traded organization. Experience and Skills: · 10+ years total work experience · 3+ years direct team and 3+ years direct project managerial experience · 5+ years client or executive stakeholder interfacing role · Prior experience in some of AECOM’s industry/end markets a plus, e.g. E&C · Prior management consulting or chief of staff experience a plus · Prior operational experience in a Fortune 500 company a plus · Experienced in market research and analysis, strategic planning, financial analysis and reporting, project/program management and vendor management · Proven experience in driving enterprise wide initiatives with evidenced results · Track record of promotions and/or increased responsibility · Highly comfortable with MSOffice and corporate financial reporting systems · Relevant post graduate degree highly preferred |
