Minimum Requirements: Candidate will have completed junior year in the study of civil engineering at an accredited university. Must have strong mathematical skills and spatial awareness. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Basic AutoCad/Civil 3D and/or Microstation/GeoPak knowledge as well as basic Microsoft Office computer skills. Willingness to work in multiple engineering and engineering related disciplines. Must have good time management skills, a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and most importantly, a strong desire to learn. Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test. Job Description: This an entry level/summer intern position working with the Surface Transportation Group for a variety of engineering support functions, including planning and design for highway transit, environmental planning, and water resources projects.
