Position Duties and Responsibilities

Leads estimating process for Tank Business Line low temperature and cryogenic tank projects, including but not limited to LNG, LPG, LOX/LIN, ammonia, etc., tanks. Also leads estimating process for turnkey LNG peakshaving facilities, LNG import terminals, and other product terminals. Supervises and reviews the preparation of presentation of estimates. Prepares major cost estimates including lump sum quality estimates for capital cost and/or service estimates. Develops basic conceptual and budget estimates. Takes lead in the preparation and reviews of discipline estimates. Directs the cost estimate effort on major storage and plate projects. Provides and supports data and cost analysis. Uses, develops and oversees the maintenance of estimating databases. Provides estimating assistance and guidance to projects. Provides technical and operational direction to assigned personnel. Executes simultaneous tasks within broadly defined parameters.

Qualifications:

Demonstrated advanced understanding of Estimating core processes and procedures
Prior experience and knowledge of the proposal management and preparation process for major storage tank inquiries
Prior experience estimating LNG and other low temperature and cryogenic storage tanks and turnkey terminals.
Demonstrated prior experience in estimating field erected storage tanks, process vessels, and spheres
Previous experience/knowledge of steel plate/tank estimating practices and methods, including demonstrated ability to organize, direct, perform, review and present cost estimating products.
Demonstrated thorough understanding of established cost index, escalation calculations and projections.
Technical and practical comprehension of LNG engineering, procurement and construction methods and techniques.
Up to date with industry and technical developments
Demonstrated ability to readily analyze estimate data and correlate to other projects and to conceptualize the total project scope.
Hands on tank construction experience is a plus
