Job Description:

Minimum Requirements:

• BA/BS in Engineering or Architecture from an accredited University
• Registered Architect in CA, with ability to achieve licensure in CO, NV, WA, OR, WY
• 15+ years of progressive experience in a multi-disciplined architectural and engineering consulting firm, with experience in project and staff management, design, business development, operational management and strategic planning.
• 10+ years project management experience across an array of markets including: Federal/State/Local governments, Healthcare, Higher Education, Ports and Transportation Agencies, Hospitals, and private developments.
• Candidate should have excellent verbal, writing, and people management skills.
• Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.

Job Description:

Manage, mentor, and lead a team of architects, engineers and designer / drafters in the delivery of architectural and construction projects in a wide array of sectors and markets, from conception through completion.

Supervise project teams, sub-consultants and interface with clients through design and construction phases. Develop and manage budgets, schedules and performance standards. Conduct briefings and technical meetings for internal and external representatives.

Manage the strategic direction of the practice, including proposal, marketing, and business development efforts. Assist in the training, professional development and recruitment of staff. Team with other URS disciplines and staff on projects and corporate initiatives.
