In the heart of Utah, a new state-of-the-art Data Center facility will provide critical I.T. services to support some of the most challenging customers in the world. Keeping it up and running 24x7x365 is essential, and will require the very best team of people to manage the complex mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other infrastructure components. Located near Salt Lake City, this new LEED Silver facility encompasses over a million square feet, including Tier III data center space, along with administrative and other buildings. Brand new leading-edge support facilities include an electric substation, power generator plants, chiller plants, water and fuel storage, fire pump house, and warehouse. AECOM is positioned to take on the critical role of Operations and Maintenance of all facilities for this sophisticated and powerful data center. In partnership with other industry leaders who have teamed with us, we are seeking energetic individuals who are up for this exciting challenge in the following areas: • Mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP) systems (managers and technicians) • Quality control • Environmental, safety, and health • Project, finance, and personnel management • Logistics, warehouse, and property control • Buildings and structures - carpenters, masons, sheet metal workers, painters • Custodial, cleaning, and waste management • Information technology, CMMS (Maximo), EMCS, SCADA and other technology solutions. Qualified candidates must be U.S. citizens, and possess or be eligible for TS/SCI clearances. Description: Manage the operations and maintenance of all assigned site infrastructure equipment and systems (critical and/or non-critical) with a master level understanding of uninterrupted 24x7 customer operations. Understanding and implementation of risk mitigation processes. Provide effective leadership to all direct reports and vendors by demonstrating a passion for excellence and a superior level of integrity. Technical understanding and communication to "C" level and below, including customers, and vendors. Create, manage, and review all facility documentation based on best practices, current industry standards with particular attention paid to the Schneider Electric Quality Systems procedures and the customer's change management processes. Direct participation in the management of capital improvement plans and projects and providing the client with appropriate feedback and solutions. Manage vendors by ensuring accurate work requests, pricing, top job performance, and adherence to the critical facility guidelines. Use effective crisis management skills and emergency operating protocols. Directly oversee the facilities' health and safety program with close adherence to OSHA, NFPA and Schneider Electric's standards. Establish and maintain an effective relationship with the customer and developing a strong level of trust and respect with the client. Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil) or equivalent is desired. 10 or more years of experience in mission critical environments. 5 or more years of supervisory experience.
