Minimum Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Mathematics, or Physics. As a substitute for the educational requirement this person may: Have an Associate's Degree in Electronics, completion of an apprentice program OR military electronics school designed to prepare a student for independent maintenance of electronic equipment, plus eight (8) additional years of experience above those required below (i.e. total of 12 years).
Experience:
• 6 years' experience directly related to Naval, Army or Air Force C4ISR systems with four of these years directly related to design engineering of command center network and information systems infrastructure to include Technology Analysis and Assessment, Design Definition, Development of Systems Specification, Systems Analysis, Systems Architecture, Systems/Equipment Integration, Test & Evaluation Criteria, and Logistics.
• Be a Certified Software Development Professional (CSDP) (Previously known as Certified Software Engineering Professional (CSEP)), or vendor/platform specific certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD), Microsoft Certified Applications Developer (MCAD), Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA), Sun Certified Professional (SCP), Red Hat Certification Program (RHCP), CISCO Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), other).
• Hands on experience with development and integration of new technologies such as Gigabit Passive Optical Network (GPON), Virtualization, Cloud Computing, Big Data (Hadoop, NoSQL etc.), large grid environments and cyber security.
• Secret Clearance will be required
