Job Description:

Overview:

This position will report to AECOM’s Tax Director and will be primarily responsible for the preparation of Company’s federal and state corporate income tax returns, assisting with preparation of the tax provision, and participating on other special projects as assigned.

Responsibilities:

Work with the domestic compliance team to prepare/review the Company’s federal and state corporate income tax returns, and respond to queries from tax authorities.
Work closely with the domestic tax compliance team to prepare/review the Company’s domestic provision for income taxes under ASC 740 and related footnote disclosures.
Assist with other tax department special projects, including federal R&D credits, changes of accounting methods, integration of acquired entities and operations, and other tax planning projects.
Develop and maintain knowledge of federal income tax laws and current developments relating to the industry.
Interface with the Finance group and numerous operating divisions on a regular basis to gather required information as needed and to respond to tax questions from the operating companies.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting

· Minimum 3 years of experience in a public accounting firm.

· PC knowledge and skills using Microsoft Office applications

· Strong interpersonal skills and excellent oral and written communications skills.
