Job Description:  We are seeking a Director of the Enterprise Project Management Office in our Los Angeles Office. 
 
Are you passionate about managing a portfolio of applications that align IT with our business strategy, do you have advanced project management skills, do you have demonstrated financial management and planning experience,   do you have large project experience working in a global company?   If you have answered yes to all 4, then this role may be for you! 
 
MAJOR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:

1. Responsible for building and managing the project/program management office/function for IT Enterprise Applications

2. Defines, develops, implements and maintains enterprise wide IT project/program management practices, governance processes, standards, methodologies and metrics

3. Partners with IT and business leadership and other key stakeholders to define opportunities, scope and prioritize projects based on criteria such as return on investment, productivity, compliance, etc.

4. Partners with above stakeholders to develop strategic, multi-year roadmaps for key functional and technical areas

5. Assist in departmental budgeting and forecasting, and serve as a key contact for audit

6. Manage and mentor team of project managers or team leaders

7. Responsible for resource management, including internal resource allocations/assignments and external vendor management from sourcing to ongoing management

8. Responsible for managing enterprise application suite of IT initiatives including overseeing the development of business case, project approach, scope, project plans, budgets, monitoring and reporting,

9. Ensures projects/programs are defined, tracked and communicated in a consistent and effective manner

10. May lead some larger scale projects but is responsible for ensuring all projects within IT portfolios/programs are delivered on time, within budget and to agreed quality level

11. Responsible for change management planning and plan execution as required by individual projects

12. Implements risk management controls and monitors project risks
   
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND COMPETENCIES

1. Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field

2. Extensive background in project and portfolio management processes, techniques, methodologies and tools

3. Advanced project management skills including PERT, CPM, Earned value, etc.

4. Experience managing complex IT projects with budgets in excess of $2million

5. Understanding of enterprise scale business and technical architectures

6. Demonstrated financial and business process knowledge including procurement, financial back office functions, vendor management

7. Prior leadership in a global IT organization and company

8. Experience with global ERP systems, business intelligence systems, project accounting systems

9. Experience in planning, facilitating, and managing change

10. Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills are mandatory

11. Proven ability to negotiate and influence decisions at senior and executive management levels and within a matrix organization

12. PMP or six sigma certification preferred
