Minimum Requirements: • Minimum BS degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related engineering discipline • Minimum PE License in North Carolina • Minimum 9 years of progressive experience in water/wastewater design, bidding, and construction phase services • Must have a valid driver's license and the ability to safely drive extended distances • Must be able to strictly adhere to Health and Safety protocols both in the office and in the field • Requires excellent interpersonal communication skills • Must be able to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance • Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test Job Description: The Infrastructure and Environment Division of URS is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Water/Wastewater Design Manager for immediate employment in the (Raleigh) Morrisville, NC office. The appropriately qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate an established career in Civil/Environmental Engineering Design specific to Water Distribution, Wastewater Collection, and Water/Wastewater Treatment. The incumbent can look forward to career opportunities such as those listed below: • Management of a municipal water/wastewater design group in the Raleigh, NC area • Mentoring engineering design staff • Planning, scheduling, and conducting engineering projects from conceptual design through construction completion • Collaborating with other URS water/wastewater professionals in the southeast and nationally • Providing advice and consultation to clients and internal URS staff on engineering matters • Assisting Business Line Managers in the development of new business, and marketing to potential and existing clients The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to those listed above.
