Minimum Requirements: •Minimum Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Civil or related engineering field
•Professional Engineering (P.E.) license in North or South Carolina
•Minimum 7 years of related engineering experience in one or more of the following areas: Clean Air Act compliance (federal as well as state and local regulations), the preparation of air emissions inventories, preparation of new source and Title V permit applications, permitting (major and minor new source preconstruction permits), consuming, regulatory agency, sustainability, auditing, SPCC and SWPPP preparation, Sara Title III, or greenhouse gas emissions
•Demonstrated ability to manage scope, budget, schedule, safety and quality on multiple projects
•Ability to identify and develop new business opportunities
•Proactive on projects and demonstrate imitative
•Must work independently with minimal supervision and manage and conduct technical work simultaneously •Proficient use of PC-based applications (MS Word, Excel, Access)
•Motivated, hard-working team player with attention to detail
•Strong organizational and communication skills are essential
•Requires completion of URS Project Management Certification Program within six months of hire
•Valid driver's license required

Responsibilities will include: • Frequent interaction with clients • Provide technical support to existing clients • Support and help lead marketing efforts to new and existing clients • Review the work and oversee the activities of junior level staff • Manage tasks and projects - full project management responsibilities • Review draft permits and negotiate permit conditions with regulatory agencies • Business development, personnel management and project management • Business development activities include: maintaining existing accounts, identifying and screening new opportunities and drafting proposals • Personnel management will include mentoring and staff development • Project management activities will include management of scope, schedule, budget and profit/loss; project staffing; subcontractor management, and client management • Support a diverse group of environmental professionals to achieve quality, sales, revenue and profitability goals
