Job Description:

Minimum Requirements:

• BS in civil engineering, construction management or other relevant field
• Minimum 10 years' experience in construction cost estimating on a variety of projects including wood frame, concrete and steel structures and site and civil infrastructure work
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel and Powerpoint, and commercial estimating software
• Strong communication skills including report preparation
• Must obtain negative result on drug screen performed in accordance with URS drug testing policy.

Job Description:

Position will be assigned to a FEMA contract assessing related to damage incurred in Hurricane Sandy and will include the following responsibilities:
• Assessing disaster-related damages to public infrastructure and other facilities
• Developing scopes of repair
• Developing associated cost estimates
• Assisting in the development and review of project deliverables including worksheets and other documentation
• Other routing contract and program management tasks
