Job Description: 
Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture or construction management or demonstrated experience
• Minimum ten years experience in construction contract administration and project controls
• Specific experience in evaluating and reviewing construction contract change orders and claims
• Valid Driver's License
• Must obtain negative result on drug screen performed in accordance with URS drug testing policy


Job Description:

URS is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Claims Analyst for immediate employment in the NYC office. URS is proud to provide our employees with exciting, challenging projects.

• Supports the Owner's Construction Management (CM) and Procurement staff in review and written responses to Contractor requests for changes, including, but not limited to scope changes, differing site conditions, delays and lost productivity
• Advises CMs in administration and interpretation of construction contract provisions
• Evaluates change requests and dispute notices for entitlement
• Prepares written materials and presentations to support Owner's positions for items for Dispute Review Boards (DRBs)
• Provides claims avoidance reviews of proposed contract terms prior to bidding in order to mitigate on minimize potential claims
• The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to those listed above
