Minimum Requirements: Education: BS degree and minimum 10 years work experience or equivalent required. Job Description: URS is seeking an Sr. Electronic Warfare (EW) Systems Engineer for our Dahlgren operation to provide support to new and/or evolving Navy EW acquisition programs. Will work with senior Navy officials and be responsible to contribute to systems engineering tasking for new and evolving Electronic Support (ES) and Electronic Attack (EA) systems and concepts. Specific work assignments will depend on the specific applicant skill set and may include: acquisition engineering, requirements definition, architecture analysis, modeling and simulation or test and evaluation. Tasking may include assignments to assess novel techniques and architectures used to defeat threat seekers; evaluate solutions for soft-kill ship defense; modeling and simulation concepts to evolve and perform operational effectiveness studies; evolve system specifications and interface definition documentation to include Objective Architecture (OA)/Product Line Architecture (PLA) solutions for integration with existing Shipboard Combat Management Systems; monitor and assess contractor design implementations and make recommendations for improvements and/or corrective actions for deficiencies; develop test plans and procedures; perform testing evolutions; develop DoDAF system views.
