TNC ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Support the Legal Corporate Services team regarding corporate legal reporting, and contract review. Responsible for the coordination of and initial review and revision of transactions to support attorneys serving the corporate departments of the organization, such as finance, external affairs, philanthropy, and marketing. Responsibilities also to include informing staff about requirements of corporate government reporting, regularly collecting information and synthesizing data received, drafting and filing reports in accordance with legal requirements of federal and local laws, and managing documentation of compliance. In addition, the Paralegal will conduct research on legal issues and revise documents, such as guidance for staff, contracts and research memorandum, under the supervision of an attorney. Related administrative duties may include recordkeeping, scheduling, check requests and expenses, triaging client requests, website postings, training and other duties as necessary. This position requires significant use of independent judgment and action, and communication and contact with various levels of Conservancy staff and government officials. Corporate Services Paralegal reports to the Legal Administration Manager of Legal Corporate Services. TNC BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
