CH2M HILL Pipeline Mapping Design Lead Jobs - Denver, Colorado

Our Pipeline Mapping Design Lead careers will provide you with the opportunity to work on exciting Energy projects in our Denver office. This Mapping Design Lead position will support project design efforts for pipelines and pipeline facilities. Each day, you will be an important leader of a team as you participate in the design, coordination, and execution of multiple projects. You should be a self-motivated, team-focused individual with 8 years of experience using AutoCAD for engineering projects. You should also have the desire to grow personally and professionally with each project.

Our Pipeline Mapping Design Leads:

Serve in the lead technical role for successful project execution when leading Mapping design projects and/or tasks.
Manage small to medium sized projects but will also be responsible for performing technical tasks and delivering work.
Work as a high level technical expert in the design and development of mapping solutions utilizing AutoCAD and or Microstation CAD systems.
Significantly contribute to the implementation and development of Mapping Design Best Practices.
Use AutoCAD to create pipeline alignment sheets & exhibit and permit drawings used to permit and construct pipeline projects.
Work with clients, subcontractors, and team partners to resolve technical issues.
Provide quality control for practicality and constructability of designs.
Possess an understanding of survey projects.
Have working knowledge with Blue Sky & Microsoft Access.

Additional Information: Preference will be given to applicants residing in the greater Denver area. CH2M HILL will not sponsor a work visa (e.g. H1B visa, etc.,) to fill this position.

Basic Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
5 years related experience with at least 3 years or more using AutoCAD on heavy industrial engineering projects
Previous work experience on pipeline projects

Preferred Qualifications

In addition to the basic qualifications, the following are highly desired:

Associates Degree
8 years related experience with at least 5 years or more using AutoCAD on heavy industrial engineering projects
Experience with Bluesky
Experience with Microstation
Experience with PODS Database
Ability to translate files from AutoCAD to GIS and GIS to AutoCAD

Degree Required

High School or GED

Preferred Years of Experience
