Minimum Requirements:
The minimum qualifications for this position include:
• BS Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Licensed as a CA Professional Engineer
• Minimum 9 years of electrical engineering and project management experience in power generation/transmission/substation/distribution industries
• Proven work history in substation design, distribution systems, 3-phase aerial overhead design, underground electric power delivery design, SCADA communications, or related engineering facets
• Knowledge of the appropriate codes and standards which govern the design work
• Experience in managing and providing technical guidance and assistance to an assigned project team
• Ability to perform client business development activities and develop strong relationships with existing clients resulting in additional business opportunities
• Proven leadership and ability to work with and interface effectively with management and assigned staff
• Experienced in the use or project scheduling software such as MS Project and Primavera P6.
• Up to date on latest developments in electric power transmission
• Willing to travel to URS and client offices/sites

The Environmental & Infrastructure Group of URS is seeking a creative, highly talented Project Electrical Engineer for immediate employment in the San Francisco office. The appropriately qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate an established career in electrical engineering projects including technical execution and management of project teams. Responsibilities:
• Manage design teams for the successful completion of assigned projects.
• Prepare Proposals for various types of projects.
• Develop cost estimates and schedules for assigned projects.
• Communicate with client on all aspects of a project; respond in a timely and effective manner.
• Manage all sub-consultants utilized for the execution of projects.
• Interface with URS Project Management software.
• Manage projects scope, schedule and budget and interface with clients regarding changes in scope, schedule and budget.
• Support Business Development activities.
