Minimum Requirements: • BA or advanced degree in environmental management or related field • Minimum 10 years' experience in environmental assessment and permitting, with minimum three years' experience in a project management role. • Or demonstrated combination of education, skills, knowledge, ability and experience. • Experience in the preparation of CEQA and NEPA documents as well as field compliance activities. • Knowledge of related federal, state, and Southern California local regulations required. • Project experience may include power plant permitting, major transmission corridor review and permitting, water resources, land use planning, and stakeholder involvement and management. • Must have exceptionally strong verbal and written communication skills. • Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test. Position involves permitting, construction compliance, and operations/maintenance activities related to large power generation and transmission projects in Southern California and the western United States. Power projects include both conventional as well as renewable energy.
Responsibilities include serving as an oversight role for CEQA/NEPA document preparation and oversight, agency liaison and permitting for multidisciplinary, multi-jurisdictional projects, and developing new business opportunities in the company's power sector.
Position also includes: • Assisting with power business line efforts in Southern California • Serve as a client account manager • Development and adherence to project budgets and cost management principles • Client coordination • Team leadership skills and mentoring junior staff EOE M/F/D/V
