Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a Science or Engineering Discipline.
• 4 years drilling experience in New York area.
• Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.
• Candidate must demonstrate excellent communication and writing skills.

Job Description:

This position offers opportunities to gain experience performing oversight of drilling operations on site investigation projects with various types of drill rigs; collecting soil and groundwater samples; determining lithological characteristics of soil and preparing boring logs; monitoring well installation; comparing laboratory analytical results to state and federal regulatory criteria for contaminants; preparing reports for clients and regulatory agencies describing site conditions and results; overseeing contractors; and coordinating with clients.

The successful candidate will work effectively and efficiently with other personnel, agency representatives, clients, and contracted service providers. The candidate will have opportunities to grow in directing field operations and successfully complete projects in the best technical manner within budget constraints. The candidate will promote growth with new projects by maintaining and enhancing client satisfaction and helping to prepare proposals. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to those stated above.
