High school diploma or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, skills, knowledge, abilities and experience.

Minimum three years marketing or administrative experience. Or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, skills, knowledge, abilities and experience.

• Job Intensive and diversified knowledge of marketing and proposal principles in coordination and production of proposals, presentations and other business development/marketing materials.

• Increased ability to juggle multiple proposals and marketing activities simultaneously.
• Ability to interpret, coordinate and execute complex marketing and/or production tasks for Marketing Coordinators/Proposal Managers and Marketing Managers.
• Takes initiative in anticipating tasks and looks for ways to add value to the process/procedures.
• Ability to conduct final QA/QC check, including proofreading for grammar and RFP compliance and checking for conformance to established strategies and plans.

Job Description:

Responsibilities include; providing clerical and organizational support to the Marketing Department for various projects. The selected candidate will assist with preparation of resumes, project descriptions, statements of qualifications, keeping marketing collateral up to date, marketing files, and tracking logs as well as other misc. marketing requests.

• Provides marketing and production support to other proposal team members.
• Ensures request for proposals (RFP) instructions pertaining to format, fonts, etc. are being followed.
• Assists other marketing personnel and technical managers with proposal and marketing tasks.
• Provides word processing of proposals, presentations and other marketing materials, often in an assistant role.
• Provides final production, printing and collating support as needed.
• May be asked to provide database support/data entry.
• Assists in gathering missing information for resumes/projects.
• Responds to requests for information (RFP)/database searches.
• Provides conceptual input for document design while ensuring RFP instructions pertaining to format, fonts, etc. are being followed.
• Troubleshoots formatting problems and issues in a timely manner.
• Proactively conducts quality assurance/quality control on proposal/marketing materials.
• May coordinate small, quick-turnaround efforts, including filling in questionnaires.
• Provides marketing support to the proposal manager during the proposal process, following standard procedures for the production of statements of qualifications and proposals.
• May conduct market research or perform other simple business development tasks.
• Provides conceptual input for document design while ensuring request for proposal (RFP) instructions pertaining to format, fonts, etc., are being followed.
• Troubleshoots formatting problems and issues in a timely manner.
• Gathers missing information for resumes/projects.
• Proactively conducts quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) on proposal/marketing materials.
• Develops a keen eye when checking own work; may check work of other Assistants.
• Provides final production, printing and collating support as needed.
