• Unix/Linux, Perl Script, Window server 2003 experience

Job Description:
URS has an opportunity for an Unified Capabilities Subject Matter Expert Lead to join our team at Fort Meade in Maryland!
This position is contingent on contract award.
Responsibilities:
• Provide engineering expertise in the analysis, design, integration, development, testing, and implementation of ongoing deployment and emerging technology for insertion into Unified Capabilities (UC).
• Analyze current technology insertion concepts and strategies, formulate new technology insertion concepts and strategies, formulate strategic plans, develop trade-off analyses among alternative approaches and conduct change management.
• Develop future architectures, conduct technology assessment of emerging technologies, conduct architectural System Design Analysis of alternative solutions, develop specifications for selected alternative, and develop test strategies and procedures for selected products and solutions.
• Technology insertion plans will be developed based on the results of the analysis of current and emerging technologies and provide in report format.
• Support the Government in conducting all planning, engineering, testing, and preparation necessary to execute the UC Spiral Deployments.
• Additionally, assist in conducting and evaluating the spiral deployments.
• Develop test plans, execute tests, and develop test reports detailing the results of the tests.
• Identify, develop and execute solutions necessary to overcome any critical path technological, operational, or procedural areas associated with achieving IOC and Full Operational Capability (FOC) on or before these dates.
• Prepare implementation plans based on results of testing and analytical evaluation and provide engineering support in the deployment of the proposed enhancements and modifications to the Unified Capabilities.
• Conduct engineering required to perform incremental updates to the UCR.
• Participate in planning and executing DISA's UC Test Programs for the ongoing deployment of the UC technology onto the DISN.
• This will include participation in Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) Assessment testing, operational trial testing, assisting the testing centers in translating requirements into test plans, adjudicating technical deficiency reports, and participation in vendor in/out-briefs.
• Deliver a weekly Status Report that indicates the progress of work and the status of the program and of the assigned task and inform of existing or potential problem areas, to include significant items/events during the execution of this task order.
• Participation in Quarterly Progress Review (QPR)s will also be a requirements of this tasks.
