The Role

The Supply Chain Analyst will assist the Purchasing Manager with strategic sourcing, Engineering interfaces, issuing and evaluating RFQs, commercial issues and negotiations, cost reduction opportunities and overall supplier management.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze logistics, inventory and material flow to find opportunities for lower cost and greater efficiency
  • Build reports and get data using SQL
  • Build advanced excel models and automate using Visual Basic
  • Work as a key quantitative contributor in diverse teams
  • Independently drive smaller projects, analyses and initiatives

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in quantitative field Very strong quantitative skills
  • Very strong programming skills
  • Experience or specialization within supply chain /operations research preferred but not necessary
  • Ability to work independently on multiple tasks and projects, with various teams including engineers and supply chain personnel.
  • Good negotiation, written and verbal skills.
  • Organizational skills to manage and track transactional details.
  • Team player and with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Both college graduates and candidates with more experience and/or advanced degrees will be considered
