Minimum Requirements:
High school graduate or equivalent
Minimum three (3) years of experience in construction inspection, one (1) year of which shall have been in bridge and/or roadway construction inspection, plus the following or the ability to attain the appropriate certifications within six months:
Must have the following certifications:
CTQP Concrete Field Inspector Level I
CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level I
CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection Level I
CTQP Final Estimates Level I
FDOT Intermediate MOT
Nuclear Radiation Safety
Florida Stormwater, Erosion, and Sedimentation Control Training and Certification Program for Inspectors and Contractors
• Prior experience as a CEI Inspector on Roadway and Bridge Construction Projects
• Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test

URS Construction Services, Inc. is actively seeking a creative, a highly talented Contract Support Specialist for immediate employment in the Central and Southwest Florida area. The appropriately qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate an established career in performing Construction Engineering and Inspection duties on highway and bridge construction projects. The incumbent can look forward to projects including various assignments for the Department of Transportation and local municipalities throughout central and Southwest Florida.
Incumbent Responsibilities:
• Responsible for performing assignments in assisting Senior Inspector in the performance of their duties
• Receive general supervision from the Senior Inspector who reviews work while in progress
