Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in IT Systems Management or related field or equivalent experience.
• 12 years of experience of which 5-7 years must be specialized experience.
Specific skills and experience required:
• Experience with IBM Guardium product to secure data required
• Understanding or experience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP) tools and products
• Knowledge of endpoint security controls
• Experience with SQL and preferably at least one scripting language such as Perl/Python/Ruby/Shell
• Experience administrating security controls and systems required
• Demonstrated proficiency in problem solving, pattern matching, and analysis
• Experience with regular expressions a plus
• Experience with ETL a plus
• Experience in working with relationship mapping and graph analysis a plus
• Experience with text processing and data mining is a strong plus
• Experience with database schemas is a plus
• Experience with a database activity monitoring tool a plus
• Experience with Oracle RDBMS 10g or higher a plus
• Detail oriented and must be able to think independently
• High level of initiative and self-confidence along with strong verbal and written communication skills is important.
• Skill in managing one's own time and the time of others based on an established project plan

URS is looking for an Information Security Engineer to join our team in Washington, D.C.!
The position is in Washington, DC with some time in Alexandria, VA. Occasional on-call support and after hours work are a requirement.
We are looking for a smart, dynamic individual to assume the role of Information Security Engineer for an Enterprise Data Warehouse for a government client in a 24/7 environment.
Position will be responsible for daily health, monitoring and availability of the Guardium infrastructure.
Functions as technical SME for the IBM Guardium application using the IBM hardware/software solution.
To join our growing team, a successful applicant should be able to manage and administer the IBM Netezza database environment to include:
• Engineer and operate InfoSphere Guardium Data Security product
• Develop and analyze database activity monitoring policy
• Develop process, tools and analytical approach to track and improve data protection efforts around database monitoring, file movement and data access rights
• Analyze and track overall Infrastructure needs for Data Protection
• Use analytics to define sensitive data patterns and assist in the discovery of sensitive data
• Participate with other security teams in analytics efforts to:
o Identify changes in rights to sensitive data
o Analyze potential sensitive data movement
o Develop data usage profiles and relationships
