Senior Army Account Manager, Federal - San Antonio or Other Nationwide Location

The challenge? Help save and protect the one and only Earth we have. As a Senior Army Account Manager you will serve as the primary account lead for our business with the our U.S Army client to ensure that CH2M HILL has a sustained relationship with the client, achieves complete client satisfaction with our work, and fully leverages our relationship to benefit the client and the firm. The Client Account Manager's focus is to ensure that CH2M HILL is the client's consultant-of-choice for environmental services, that we have a thorough understanding of their needs and are seen as their best contributor to accomplishing their goals.

This position will be responsible for contributing to the relationship building, identification of opportunities, pursuit, capture, and support of our Army portfolio. The primary focus of this position is on the development of new business opportunities with the US Army in support of the Environmental Services Business Group. Additional experience in the delivery and execution of major environmental programs to the Army is considered beneficial. Specific experience in developing munitions response projects is also considered beneficial. The Ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, team-focused individual; 15+ years of professional experience on U.S Army Corps of Engineer and Army Environmental Command projects; who has a desire to grow personally as well as professionally with each client service/project management job.

Our Client Account Leaders:

  • Work with our existing Army client base to identify project opportunities and convert task orders
  • Develop partnerships with our Army Programs to support their growth objectives
  • Support the delivery of projects that have been converted ensuring client satisfaction
  • Leverage relationships with existing Army clients to expand our service offerings while continuing to grow new, productive relationships
  • Manage relationships with industry partners and alliances
  • Offer background in the management of consulting and construction procurements for both ID/IQs and task orders
  • Network within client and industry organizations that can be leveraged for business development objectives
  • Collaborate with DoD Client Service Managers to maximize growth across our client groups
  • Develop internal relationships to support the overall growth and success of CH2M HILL Environmental Services Business Group
  • Develop a proven track record of growth and client satisfaction with the Army account

Additional information: Business travel to client sites and offices for meetings will be required for this role.

Basic Qualifications

  • A minimum of 15 years proven successful business development experience with Department of Defense, particularly the U.S Army
  • Ability to demonstrate a proven track record of growing environmental services with the U.S Army
  • Able to demonstrate an ability to manage multiple clients and to represent the client to the firm's leadership
  • Ability to lead large, scale complex acquisitions
  • Experience successfully converting competitive fixed price Tas Orders with an Army account
  • Demonstrated success in managing a client development program for the U.S. Army
  • U.S. citizenship is required in order to work onsite for our Federal clients
  • Bachelors degree with Engineering or Science focus including, but not limited to, Chemical, Civil or Environmental Engineering or Science

Preferred Qualifications

  • A minimum of 20 years environmental business development experience and background with Department of Defense, particularly Army and specifically Army Environmental Command
  • Registered PE, PG or PMP
  • Master degree with Engineering or Science focus including, but not limited to, Chemical, Civil or Environmental Engineering or Science
  • Located within the Washington DC metro area or co-located with key Army client
