Minimum Requirements: Basic Minimum Qualifications: • Must have Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline from an accredited college. • 7 + years of professional experience as a Mechanical Engineer. • Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test
Additional Preferred Qualifications: • Project Management and Safety Training will be a plus. • A Professional Engineering License in the State of Florida is a plus. • Experience in a manufacturing industrial setting is a plus. • Experience designing HVAC systems/ chillers/ heat exchangers • Experience working with Siemens Apogee • Experience with domestic water piping, and pipe stress analysis • Experience with air compressors set up/ design. • Micro Station or similar Computer Aided Design experience. • Excellent computing skills with MS Office, MC Project and MAXIMO.

Define scope of technical programs and develop effective and efficient solutions to complex engineering problems in both existing and new facilities. Provide engineering analysis and design development and generation of design output documents including but not limited to: Process Flow Diagrams, Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams, System Descriptions, Mechanical Equipment Lists, Mechanical Equipment, Pipe, and Valve Specifications, Failure Analysis, Accident Analysis, Finite Element Analysis, ASME Code Design and Evaluation, Pipe Stress Analysis, Material Handling Design, Fire Protection Design, HVAC Design, and Vendor Document Reviews. Specify and select equipment, function as the technical expert to less experienced engineers, develop standard discipline deliverables (calculations and drawings), plan and estimate complex engineering tasks, promote and negotiate solutions, and communicate with management and customers.
