AECOM Boston is looking for 2 Architecture student s to join our team as an architectural intern this summer. The candidate will perform assignments under the direction of Project Managers and/or Project Designers. This intern position will include assisting Design Teams in duties focusing primarily in the preparation of design and presentation packages including the using 3D modeling and design explorations utilizing 3D visualization tools such as SketchUp or Revit. The work will also entail the development of scaled and drawings for study and presentation under the direct supervision of the architectural design team members. Responsibilities will include other duties as required. Local Applicants are preferred. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Assists with design tasks including the preparation of building plans, sections, elevations and 3D modeling Assist with development of Design and Construction Documents using AutoCAD, Revit and SketchUp. Support Design Teams in the preparation of Project Documentation including design reports, tabulations, spreadsheets and other design or technical information. Participate in a meaningful way as an integrated member of Design Teams collaborating in the design development of a wide range of projects. Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit and SketchUp. Advanced skills preferred. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel software applications Have a positive attitude and be willing and capable of learning and exploring new and innovative ideas Be responsive, responsible, reasonably organized and neat in the workplace Have a strong sense for communicating graphically Must be willing to participate in an active and dynamic work place and at times put in extra effort to accomplish critical tasks and deliverables What We Offer AECOM is a place where you can put your innovative thinking and business skills into high gear and work alongside other highly intelligent and motivated people.
