Job Summary

Organize and direct the strategic and tactical initiatives necessary to build and maintain professional business relationships so that sales growth and product penetration objectives are achieved in promoting integrated waste services model to assigned Integrated Health Networks (IHNs) and/or major healthcare facilities. Key Accounts will include IHNs, large healthcare facilities, regional GPO?s and surgical facilities. This position can be based in Georgia, Florida, Tennessee or Alabama.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.


  • Develops, implements and monitors the strategic sales initiatives, and directs the tactical plans and programs to achieve business objectives for assigned IHNs and accounts.

  • Identifies customer objectives and new opportunities. Utilizes and directs resources to implement plans and programs throughout all IHN facilities and other assigned facilities.

  • Leads the preparation of comprehensive financial market segment and product/service analyses to identify opportunities within assigned accounts. Maintains ongoing account contact at target facilities to retain current sales volume, to uncover new opportunities, and to monitor competitive activity.

  • Facilitates all major IHN & IDN contract and price negotiations, and contract management across the entire product offering within the Healthcare Solutions division. Effectively communicates value added conceptual sales benefits across multiple functional healthcare department groups.

  • Works with all levels and functions in the company in the development of sales concepts and initiatives.

  • Participates in conferences and within industry organizations. Attends seminars and meetings to identify emerging trends and needs in current healthcare and waste industries. Identifies new technologies that can be utilized to enhance product offerings.


    Supervisory Responsibilities

    This job has no supervisory duties, but may occasionally act as a team lead.


    Qualifications

    The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.

    A. Education and Experience

    Required: Bachelor?s Degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Marketing, or similar area of study, with 5 plus years of previous healthcare/ healthcare solutions/services executive level sales experience.


    Preferred: Masters Degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Marketing, or similar area of study, with 10 plus years experience selling concept healthcare solutions to healthcare facility administrators and executives.
