Minimum Requirements:

The minimum qualifications for this position include:
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture or related field; or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, skills, knowledge, abilities and experience
• Five years of progressive construction experience; at least two years of which were associated with healthcare construction or healthcare facilities renovations
• Familiarity with and ability to use project management and office software systems, such as Prolog, Expedition, Constructware, and Word, Excel, etc.
• Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test

The Infrastructure and Environment Division of URS is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Construction Manager to support new construction and renovations for a major healthcare provider in northern Virginia. The appropriately qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate an established career in providing construction-related services at a healthcare facility. URS is proud to provide our employees with exciting, challenging projects.
This Healthcare Construction Manager will support the client on a wide range of typical construction issues; coordinating outages; coordinating office and patient relocations, reviewing and recommending progress payments; preparing daily reports, coordinating progress meetings; resolving construction issues and in general, ensuring that the contractor carries out the approved plans and specifications.
This person will report to the Healthcare Program Manager.
