Job Description:

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or other appropriate engineering discipline such as chemical, process, mechanical, electrical
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, skills, knowledge, abilities, and experience
• Demonstrated technical experience in chemical, manufacturing, mining or petroleum or other related industries
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Appropriate communication skills both written and oral and effectively interact with facility staff
• Ability to quickly comprehend facilities operations and systems
• Understanding of the importance of job safety and the ability to infuse safety into all aspects of work responsibilities
• Experience with project and construction management
• Hands on technical capabilities to complete assignments
• Valid driver's license required
• Qualified applicant who is offered position must relocate to Tallahassee, Florida within 12 months of offer letter
• Qualified applicants must be able to pass a background check
• Qualified applicant who is offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test

Other position expectations:
• Expected to commit to maintaining the highest standard of business conduct and ethics
• May require work outdoors in extreme weather conditions

Job Description:

This position will work closely with facility management from various types of industries or manufacturers. The position may work on a temporary basis at a facility to complete an assignment or may work from the Tallahassee Office with occasional visits to the facility to complete assignments. These assignments may include evaluating systems, identifying areas for improvement, and also developing justifications for facility capital projects.

Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
• Working with cross functional teams to acquire information for engineering evaluations and analyses
• Assist in determining capital project and other facility project scheduling and budget requirements
• May develop and evaluate project plans and criteria for a variety of projects and activities
• May prepare construction contract documents
• Provide reviews for the basis of design
• Support QA/QC function of project teams
