Minimum Requirements:
•Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field. Should have a demonstrated interest in energy management, renewables and sustainability.
•Highly organized and ability to support multiple projects at a given time. Must have very strong communication skills both written and verbal. Must be familiar with standard design codes.
•Ability to work with other staff at various locations, both internal and external to IE, with a customer service focus.
•Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.
•Valid driver's license
Job Description:
The Boston office of URS is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Graduate Electrical Engineer for immediate employment. This is an entry level position, and will have a sustainable design/renewables/energy management focus. The appropriately qualified applicant must be able to demonstrate an enduring interest in sustainability.
•As an electrical engineer, the candidate will be involved in the successful implementation of projects including technical, client, and quality and safety aspects. The candidate will assist the project manager and technical leadership for the projects.
•The candidate will interact with clients such as the MassDOT and MBTA. The candidate will also interact with multi-disciplinary and multi-office project teams within URS and must be able to effectively work in team settings.
