Sr. Process Engineer - Bellingham, WAThe challenge? Helping ensure the world's supply of energy and chemicals. At CH2M HILL, we deliver solutions that span the entire breadth of the energy and chemicals industry. Sr. Process Engineer position will provide you with the opportunity to work on exciting small and mid scale energy and chemical projects in our Bellingham office. Each day you will participate in the process engineering and design for oil, gas and chemical projects. You should be a detail oriented professional with 7 or more years of experience in process engineering design work or operations for the oil refining, gas processing and chemical sectors. Production, pipeline, terminal and LNG experience is also beneficial. Our Sr. Process Engineer: • Participate as part of a multidiscipline design team on various projects. • Exhibit good understanding of applicable industry codes and standard practices. • Assist with planning and sequencing of process deliverables. • Execute process tasks within Budget and Schedule. • Participate in meetings with the client and project team to establish project objectives and to coordinate and/or resolve design issues. • Complete process engineering studies, reports and calculations. • Develop Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and P&IDs. • Generate process equipment data sheets and specifications. • Generate technical bid tabs to confirm vendor quotations meet technical requirements. • Review of vendor submittal drawings and documents. • Check process deliverables, prior to formal issue. • Will work under the direction of a Principal level Process Discipline Lead Engineer, however, continuous supervision must not be required. Must be able to demonstrate ability to work into lead role and work independently Basic Qualifications
