Minimum Requirements:
High school graduate or equivalent plus 5 years of experience in construction inspection, 2 years of which shall have been in ITS construction inspection, plus the following :
Qualifications:
Fiber Installation Inspection and OTDR Fiber Testing
DMS Operation and Testing
Controller Operation and Testing
CCTV Installation, Operation and Testing
Familiarity with Existing Communication Equipment and Switches
Certifications:
IMSA Level II
or a Civil Engineering degree and one (1) year of ITS CEI experience
Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test

URS Construction Services, Inc. is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Sr. ITS Inspector for immediate employment in the Central Florida area. The appropriately qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate an established career in performing Construction Engineering and Inspection duties on ITS construction projects. The incumbent can look forward to various assignments for the Department of Transportation, Expressway Authorities, and local municipalities throughout Central Florida.
Incumbent Responsibilities:
Responsible for performing highly complex technical assignments in field surveying and construction layout, making, and checking engineering computations, inspecting construction work, and conducting field tests and is responsible for coordinating and managing the lower level inspectors. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Project Administrator.
