Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related field.
Professional Engineer's License in MA or ability to obtain one within 6 months of hire.
Minimum of 7 years or transportation infrastructure experience in MA.
Must be familiar with standard design codes.
Highly organized and ability to support multiple projects at a given time.
Must have very strong communication skills - both written and verbal.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.

Job Description:
The transportation Business Line of URS is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Senior Engineer for immediate employment in the Boston, MA office. The appropriately qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate an established career in engineering, specific to transportation infrastructure. URS is proud to provide our employees with exciting, challenging projects. The incumbent can look forward to projects including various State DOT, MBTA and DCR design projects.
• Assist with the management of several on-going contracts with various State and local agencies - This includes monitoring project budgets, schedules and QA/QC documentation.
• Serve as an ambassador for URS in the Massachusetts technical communities.
• Perform technical/constructability reviews of plans, specs, reports and other deliverables.
• Serve as a Technical Expert for the business line.
• Follow projects through design and construction.
• As senior Civil Engineer, the candidate will be involved in the successful implementation of projects including technical, client, and quality and safety aspects. The candidate will assist the project manager and technical leadership for the projects.
• The candidate will interact with clients and with multi-disciplinary and multi-office project teams within URS and must be able to effectively work in team settings.
