Minimum Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science-related field (or equivalent) or possess a BA or BS in another field in conjunction with relevant work experience and recognized information security certifications, including those provided by SANS and ISC2. Minimum nine (9) years of experience in computing and information security. Master's degree in a related field preferred. Certification as CAP, GWAPT is preferred.
Experience should include: • Familiarity with Navy IA security architectures, either surface fleet or submarine • Familiarity with Navy information assurance certification and accreditation processes as defined in NAVSEAINST 9400.2 (Platform IT) and ICD 503 (NAVINTEL IA Implementation) • Experience with network security assessments, penetration testing and system security analysis • Familiarity with security policy, procedure and planning development • Familiarity with submarine operations and system installation/maintenance practices not required but will be evaluated favorably.
Seeking strong analytical, technical, interpersonal, interviewing and writing skills, and has the ability to perform the tasks described above. The successful candidate must be a team player, committed to meeting team and client schedules, and able to work productively on several high profile projects simultaneously. Candidate must be able to communicate technical details effectively both verbally and written to team members, managers, and clients. A writing sample will be requested of select qualified candidates.

We are currently seeking a Submarine Information Assurance Analyst for our Washington, DC office. This person will serve as the Principal Assistant to PEO Submarines Information Assurance Lead, supporting design, acquisition and certification and accreditation of submarine tactical systems.
Essential Responsibilities:
1. Perform customer requirement analysis for existing or proposed systems to determine feasibility of certification and accreditation under current and proposed IA standards. 2. Design or modify system security requirements and prepare reports, schedules, data requirements, security access rules and system constraints. 3. Provide on-site customer support for program guidance, testing, systems analysis, and other system related tasks as needed. 4. Prepare detailed documents for selected activities (i.e., data management, configuration management, program management, etc.). 5. Provide administrative support to project management staff in customer meetings, presentations and briefings as requested. 6. Maintain and establish a filing system for correspondence, project status reports, and other technical documentation 7. Monitor tactical system compliance with hardware and software systems security standards and procedures. 8. May provide informal training in implementing information security based on user requirements. 9. Assist in the preparation and production of technical reports, progress reports, and data requirements for technical presentations, meetings and customer briefings.
