CH2M HILL Energy and Chemicals Business Group Manager of Risk Management Careers - Houston, Texas The challenge? Ensuring mission success for our clients globally by managing project risk. Our Energy and Chemicals Business Group (E&CBG) Manager of Risk Management position provides you with an opportunity to establish the project risk process to be used within the business group and work in direct support of risk management roles for project execution. This position reports to the Senior Vice President of Risk and Special Projects.
Note: this is a Risk Management position in support of proposals and project execution, not a position in the sense of insurance and other corporate Risk Management duties. Our Manager of Risk Management: • Ensures that or E&CBG and project risk management plans and procedures are consistent with corporate procedures and Contractual requirements, and that the risk management plan adequately provides for provision of the following capabilities: • Development of common tools and guidance of a Risk Maturity Model • Delivery of project risk management training • Identification/development of risk coordinator types, as well as a management successor • Ensures projects comply with the E&CBG risk management plan and procedures and other risk-specific requirements for their assigned scope of work. • Leads the evaluation of project risks and opportunities via risk and opportunities workshops. • Provide support/guidance to Projects and other risk owners. • Initiate and oversee risk assessments. • Define and help facilitate monthly Risk Reviews. • Define how to compile, summarize and brief risk management reports and supply detailed project risk reports for monthly reporting (as an integrated part of the Project Controls systems). • Provide risk management training for Risk Managers and other project team members. • Review and approve Project Risk Management Plans Basic Qualifications• 10+ year's experience with project risk analysis. • Previous experience with establishing Business Group risk analysis processes and oversight is a must. • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Mgmt, Finance, or other related degree. Preferred Qualifications • Previous experience with Risk Management tools like Pertmaster, @Risk, Crystal Ball, a risk register program, etc. • MS degree in a related field • PMP Certification •Degree Required Bachelors or 4 Year Degree |
