Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, engineering or demonstrated equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 7 years relevant experience.
• Ability to effectively communicate both orally (in common English narration) and in writing (to include technical documentation).
• Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, tight deadlines, work independently and work in a team environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 2000 or later with particular emphasis on Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and other applicable database and office automation products.
• Able to obtain a favorable determination from the DHS Background Investigation.
• Knowledge and experience with Systems, Applications and Products(SAP).
• Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.


Job Description:

The Infrastructure and Environment Division of URS is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Financial Analyst for immediate employment at a federal client in Washington, DC. The appropriately qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate an established career in financial management.

Incumbent Responsibilities:

• The incumbent shall assist the Government client with formulating financial management policies and procedures in accordance with the client's policies and all applicable laws and regulations.

• Financial Planning: The incumbent shall analyze financial data to support program and project managers; produce charts and graphs, developing spreadsheets and reports from client systems or data as required.

• Financial Reporting: The incumbent shall collect and prepare financial information to support requests from various stakeholders, and perform data entry using Systems, Applications, and Products (SAP) and other client financial systems.

• Financial Support: The incumbent shall participate in the process of formulating financial management policies and procedures, identify business process best practices and re-engineering financial management processes.
