Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field and at least 12 years of job related experience or equivalent. Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills are required.
Working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications are required. Extensive travel may be required.
Position requires the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.
Essential Responsibilities:
1. Overall responsibility for cost, schedule and technical performance of the operation. 2. Perform senior level customer liaison. 3. Implement Company policies and procedures. 4. Provide direction and leadership to assigned personnel. 5. Manage and coordinate research and investigations into business problems. 6. Provide guidance and assistance relative to operating problems and projects. 7. Manage and apply change strategies to create new organizations and services consistent with the company vision. Provide a vision for a business area within the company. 8. Provide senior technical support to customers. 9. Provide Business Development strategic planning, pursuit and capture.
Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:
Office and light fabrication and assembly environment with no unusual hazards, occasional lifting to 20 pounds, constant sitting while using the computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, must possess planning/organizing skills, and must be able to work under deadlines. Duties include strategic planning, business development and management of the day-to-day operation and may have program management responsibility to one or more contracts. Participates in developing, interpreting, and implementing policies and procedures for the organization, ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
