Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of project management experience, with emphasis on preparation of site plans and specifications for site development, airport infrastructure design, and underground utility infrastructure design.
• Requires good computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Office Excel and Word), but in particular, experience using AutoCAD in preparing site plans, grading plans and infrastructure design plans and details.
• Working knowledge of Planning and Zoning requirements.
• Working knowledge in preparing hydrology and hydraulic studies and design of drainage systems.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Connecticut is required.
• Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.
• This position requires successful completion of the URS Project Management Certification program within 6 months of date of hire. This certification program is a series of learning modules and is available on-line through the URS Learning Management System at no financial cost to the employee.

The Infrastructure and Environment Division of URS is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Civil Engineering Project Manager for immediate employment in the Rocky Hill, CT office. The incumbent can look forward to working on multi-disciplined assignment within the URS New England Civil Engineering group. The position provides an opportunity to expand your knowledge of the profession of civil engineering with potential to project manager.
• This position will provide civil engineering design and construction phase support for projects in CT and other New England states.
• This position reports to the manager of civil engineering services.
• Position may interact with client and regulatory agencies such as the CTDEEP, local municipalities, etc. Will interact with multi-discipline and multi office team within URS. Must be able to work efficiently in team situations.
• The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to those stated above.
