ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS As a member of the Systems Application Testing & Analysis team, the Quality Assurance Test Analyst is responsible for providing technical analysis and testing of technology products with the goal of creating or enhancing a quality “user experience”.This position will develop, maintain, and carry out procedures that ensure all information systems products and services meet minimum organization standards and end-user requirements. The primary focus of this position will be to work with project teams to thoroughly test software to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects. This position will adapt industry standard testing tools & techniques when possible and will develop, document, and execute test plans throughout the project life-cycle. S/he will work in cross functional teams to resolve problems that occur as a result of testing and will regularly report progress on problem resolution to management. S/he will make recommendationsfor improvement as part of the product and service development processes. Major responsibilities include:
The Quality Assurance Test Analyst is managed by the Program Director, Systems Application Testing & Analysis and supervises no staff. S/he may supervise matrixed volunteers and staff in cross-organizational and cross-functional teams. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
