Minimum Requirements: • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or demonstrated equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years of combined professional accounting and industry experience with significant interaction and understanding of accounting and financial principals
• Financial planning, analysis, budgeting and forecasting experience required
• Experience with Hyperion Planning, Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), Hyperion Essbase, Smartview, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Highly motivated, energetic team player with the capability to effectively manage multiple projects/tasks with limited or minimal supervision
• Demonstrated aptitude to prepare and present financial information to executive finance management
• Ability to explain accounting and finance concepts to non-financial personnel • Excellent written and oral communication as well as analytical skills
• Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with senior management as well as a multi-disciplined cross section of a large corporate organization
Compensation commensurate with experience. Job Description: • Financial Analysis - Assist in various financial analyses, including:
o Monthly actual to budget variance analyses,
o Monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting and forecasting packages,
o Incentive compensation analyses, o Other critical analyses, including ad-hoc analyses as requested by Senior Management • Financial Planning - Assist in the consolidation of the Divisional and Corporate Financial Plans. Work with Division Controllers, Senior Management and budget/financial plan managers to enhance and streamline the financial planning process
o Develop, maintain and report on corporate department budgets ($110 million)
o Provide budgetary guidance and support to corporate departments in an effort to identify areas of focus for procedural enhancements and cost efficiencies.
• Forecasting - Assist in the coordination and consolidation of the financial forecast
o Prepare the corporate forecast for quarterly financial reporting and Board of Director reports. • Surveys - Prepare various surveys in conjunction within government-mandated reporting requirements.
o Surveys completed quarterly/annually with assistance from the business units.
