Job Description: URS is looking for an Intelligence Analyst to join our team in Crane, Indiana!
The Intelligence Analyst will provide Electronic Surveillance (ES) expertise to support engineering and technical support services, production engineering support and evaluation tasks for Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) Electronic Warfare Threat Libraries. Provide up-to-date and accurate parametric data to the fleet through annual library releases and On-line Library Advisories by researching, coding, testing, and verifying proper emitter identification. Develop and maintain documentation for specific Electronic Warfare system libraries and database tools, programs, and configurations in support of LCS.
Responsibilities:
1. Analyze National System Electronic Intelligence (ELINT) databases and radar parameters to gather intelligence information, generate threat libraries, and store test results. Perform weekly and monthly review of the Combined Emitter Database, National Security Agency ELINT Technical Reports (ELT), Threat Change Message Portals (TCMPs), Electronic Warfare Integrated Reprogramming Data Base (EWIRDB), Next Generation EWIR System (NGES), and Naval Information Operations Center TACELINT report.
2. Perform emitter analysis, coding and single emitter and scenario testing to gather information and build a knowledge base concerning the characteristics of the emitter(s) to be tested.
3. Ensure Quality Assurance (QA) and Verification and Validation (V&V) is completed for all Fleet releasable threat libraries utilizing approved and accredited intelligence sources.
4. Execute administration to archive all analysis notes and test reports, ensure that the Emitter Log and Tracking matrix have been updated, and scan the Library coding sheets, Electronic Support Measures (ESM) system configuration sheets, test sheets, and the threat library Version Description Document. File all hard copy documents in the ELINT Notation (ELNOT) folders.
5. Develop and maintain documentation for specific Electronic Warfare system libraries and database tools, programs, and configurations.
6. Provide direct support to the Library Analyst engineers, as required.
7. Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
