Minimum Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of Material Handling and Warehouse operations
• Must have a working knowledge of logistics issues and systems used to track inventory receipt and issuance
• Must have good oral communication, and interpersonal skills
• Must follow safety procedures in handling materials
• Must have computer skills to conduct inventory and issue materials
• Must demonstrate proficiency in using automated data processing hardware
• Must have familiarity with OSHA, State, and DOD safety laws and regulations
• Strong work ethic and professional demeanor
• Must have valid driver's license
• Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test

The Infrastructure & Environment Division of URS is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Material Handler for immediate employment at MCB-Hawaii. The appropriately qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate an established career in Materials Management and Warehouse Operations. Incumbent Responsibilities:
• Provide on-site support services in the Hazardous Material Consolidation Program at Marine Corps Base Hawaii
• Receives and stores materials in a warehouse or storage facility in an organized manner and convenient location for removal when needed.
• Marks or tags articles as necessary for identification purposes.
• Retrieves stored material when requested, transports it to the requester, and returns material to storage as required.
• Maintains warehouse and shipping records and may use automated warehouse management system(s)
• May operate hand and power equipment, including forklift, for material handling.
