Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum eight years experience in related position
• Must have good oral communication, and interpersonal skills
• Experience with daily operation of a Hazardous Materials Minimization program, its activities or facilities, and experience with hazardous waste management activities or waste facilities
• Must have two years of experience managing hazardous and non-hazardous waste processing operations
• Must have initial 40 hour training and refresher training, if applicable, or may claim trained as a Technical Specialist
• Must follow safety procedures and have familiarity with OSHA, State, and DOD safety laws and regulations
• Strong work ethic and professional demeanor
• Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test

The Infrastructure & Environment Division of URS is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Hazardous Waste & Materials Site Supervisor for immediate employment at MCB-Hawaii. The appropriately qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate an established career in Hazardous Waste & Materials Management. URS is proud to provide our employees with exciting, challenging projects.
Incumbent Responsibilities:
• Oversee HAZMIN Center, including the receipt and storage of materials in a warehouse or storage facility.
• Develop and maintain effective warehouse storage practices that promote efficient storage, identification and retrieval.
• Oversee Waste Management operations to ensure compliance with Federal, State, and local regulations
• Will supervise subordinate personnel and be responsible for overall operations.
• The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed above.
