The Measurements Group of URS is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Field Technician for immediate employment in the Chicago, IL area. The appropriately qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate an established career in environmental analytical work, specific to air quality projects. URS is proud to provide our employees with exciting, challenging projects. The incumbent can look forward to a full time assignment at a client site operating and maintaining an air quality and meteorological monitoring network.
Incumbent Responsibilities:
• Operation of a variety of air quality instrumentation including Gas Chromatographs
• Maintenance and troubleshooting instrumentation
• Field repairs on instrumentation
• Operation of computer and data logger programs for data collection
