General Job Description The Gladstone LNG (GLNG) Project is a grass roots 2 Train Liquefied Natural Gas Facility that will be constructed on Curtis Island, (near Gladstone) Australia on a camp status, fly in/fly out basis for non-local personnel. It will be performed using a combination of Direct Hire and Construction Management of experienced specialist Australian Subcontractors methods. Basic Qualifications Bachelor of science degree in Engineering or equivalent related work experience Prior experience in Systems Control/Instrumentation, pre-commissioning, commissioning and startup of LNG systems/facilities Duties & Responsibilities Plans, develops, coordinates, and directs pre-commissioning/startup activities within Instrumentation and Control discipline for the assigned project. Provides pre-commissioning/startup supervision or assistance at the jobsite as assigned. Coordinates, and reviews the work of assigned client's operating and maintenance personnel. Participates in pre-commissioning/startup forecasting and preparation activities as required. Ensures that work being performed is within scope of services and within budget. Inputs to project management, engineering, and construction to ensure pre-commissioning/startup requirements are incorporated into project activities, including review of project designs and construction to ensure plant operability and operating personnel safety. Coordinates with client representatives to obtain approval on work as it is accomplished. Reviews and approves key pre-commissioning/startup methods, procedures, and schedules on assigned project(s).
