Minimum Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Hazardous Material handling and operations • Minimum of 3 years of experience with logistics issues and systems used to track inventory receipt and issuance • Must have or be able to obtain initial 40-hr HAZWOPER training • Must have good oral communication, and interpersonal skills • Must be knowledgeable regarding safety procedures in hazardous materials handling • Must have familiarity with OSHA, State, and DOD safety laws and regulations • Strong work ethic and professional demeanor • Must have valid driver's license • Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test Job Description: Do the best work of your life! Incumbent Responsibilities: • Provide on-site supervision in the Hazardous Material Consolidation Program at Marine Corps Base Hawaii • Responsible for the HAZMIN Center • Maintain applicable IT systems and inventory • Provide customer support, including receipt & issuance of Hazardous Materials • Ensure proper storage of Hazardous Materials and maintain MSDS documentation • HSMS and/or HMMS Database maintenance.
